We are Travel+SocialGood

We are a global community of changemakers, passionate about transforming the travel industry into a force for good.

Our goal is to build the travel industry of the future, one in which sustainable travel acts as the catalyst for solving the world’s most pressing issues.

Travel+SocialGood launched in the spring of 2013 in partnership with the UN Foundation’s +SocialGood network. Through our initiatives, TSG is building a collaborative community that provides the tools and network to help catalyze our industry’s next leaders.

Our Projects

Travel+SocialGood was founded in an effort to propel the travel industry to be more sustainable. We believe social good should not be an afterthought when it comes to travel. All travel should have positive economic, environmental, cultural and social impact for traveler, place and resident. Our global community is led by a team of volunteers: motivated, forward-thinking professionals with a passion for building the travel industry of the future.

2016 Global Summit

Travel+SocialGood’s 2016 Summit is limited to 150 visionaries in the travel/tech/social good nexus. We’ll be convening at the United Nations building in New York City on May 13.
Building off past Summits, we will be tackling the core challenge our industry faces:

How do we mainstream sustainable travel?

We aim to ignite actionable change by convening the best and the brightest. Through a mix of talks and activations centered around the main design-thinking session, our goal is to conclude the 2016 Summit with the roadmap to push the travel industry toward its potential as a catalyst for positive impact.
